Arranged Marriage

yes... i've been speaking to some Pakistani and Indian friends. It's true tho. most of them still believe in arrange marriages. They actually believe that real relationship understanding comes after marriages. Of course, it's arranged marriages and not forced marriages. There's a big difference. I guess the underlying reason that arranged marriage works is through the culture itself. One has to know thoroughly understand their role well in a relationship... and ready to make changes through discovery.(e.g. there's a girl in my block doing a ph.D, she will be meeting her husband-to-be for the first time in Singapore while their marriage is arranged sometime ago.) In oppose to the conventional relationships we always say, both have their pros and cons. Either type of relationship would work out, it just depends on the mentality of the person and how they believe in a relationship and how they want to execute them.
